Blue Canon - June 24, 2006

This field trip visited the town of Blue Canon which now is limited to a few private homes. We did find the Jail and previous building foundations. Gone is the Station, hotel, house and turntable. With a old map of the towns layout we could see where things had been. The towns founders tombstone were at a small gravesite on a hillside.

On the road to Blue Canon town we needed to wait for a UP train and of course pictures were required.

Exchanging history, a warm but pleasant day.

Mary and John Woodbury were the pioneers of Blue Canon.
