Our mission includes restoring and protecting the historical assets of the area.  We have been most fortunate to be key players in the completion of two projects in Colfax.

• The Colfax Depot was our first major project in the area.  Society volunteers were instrumental in obtaining funding and providing the workforce.  Please enjoy the pictorial attached,
• Our second major project was the restoration of the Caboose in downtown Colfax.

We also support safety programs along the railroad right-of-way, including Union Pacific’s UP CARES Crossing Safety and California Operation Lifesaver.
